Introduction to the Darkroom

A two-week course (two 2-hour sessions) in basic darkroom techniques. You will shoot a roll of black-to-white film leading up to the class and process it the first week, then make prints the second week. Film, chemistry, and all supplies provided. All work done in our onsite darkroom

Get up close with big cameras, both old and new. A hands-on introduction to large format photography, from 4x5 to mammoth cameras. Learn history, techniques, workflow, tripod handling, light metering, lens selection, camera movements, and available accessories. Take your first shots with a big camera!
